Description
"While the Siege of Bastogne is often credited as the central point where the German offensive was stopped, the battle for Elsenborn Ridge was a decisive component of the Battle of the Bulge, deflecting the strongest armored units of the German advance. The attack was led by one of the best equipped German divisions on the western front, the 1st SS Panzer Division (LSSAH). The division made up the lead unit for the entire German 6th Panzer Army. SS Obersturmbannführer Joachim Peiper led Kampfgruppe Peiper, consisting of 4,800 men and 600 vehicles. It was charged with leading the main effort"

this is my first time tried on an AFV Club model. and i have to say this is the best kit i have worked on so far, tons of detail and parts, great complexity and very challenging. the track was really great; not too long and not too short, enough to achieve sagging effect. the 2 side shield can be position close or open, (i chose open), but in both state they have weak joints between its hinges so i have to reinforce both side with some one my spare PE sprue .
the paint scheme is the normal german dark yellow, but this time i tried out and included preshading process, so it doesnt look so boring with the standard color
there are still more to come my friends , so stay tune
comments, advices and all that jazz r wellcome
