I am an AFV vehicle nerd, especially light tank and amour car and selected tank destroyer
majority of my models are German AFVs since they have the most badass looking tanks and great variety of camouflage schemes.
But im also a Gundam (or mobile suit nerd) because they are really fun to build and paint (you can go crazy with them unlike WW2 stuff).
I dont really do aircraft since my skill are very limited for the iron birds. but occasionally, if a model intrigue me, i might take a look and consider the possibility.
I see myself as a mediocre modeler because i believed all of my products can still be greatly improve even with 4 years of skill.

yes it is 1 year since my last journal update.
so the new year is here and there are stuff i looking forward to
- exercise, gonna hit the gym as school start since my abdomen is getting out of shape for a skinny guy like me. i dont want to say "a better healthier lifestyle" because i will look like a douche :\
- transfer, will transfer to a university next fall but im still waiting for the result, dear god i need to get in, that 3.3 GPA better get me in :(
- modelling: less less less model, more more more more in quality. instead of stashing like most modeler do, i want to change my way of working with kits. like i stated, i will pump ou

I was asking 
if he had any tips for something I was trying to do on a model kit, and he thought you might have some ideas.
What I'm trying to do is paint a Tiger tank reflecting the immediate aftermath of it being clipped along the side by a directed energy weapon. I already deformed the plastic using heat, but I have been trying to paint it to give the appearance of at least faintly-glowing metal.
Any thoughts, tips or advice would be appreciated if you are willing. Thank you
